Ashanti Shequoiya, also known for her stage name Ashanti was born October 13 the 13th of October, 1980 at Glen Cove New York United States. She is an actress and a performer of the United States. Ashanti was a teenager singer-songwriter and actress from the US is signed with Murder Inc. Records to record her in 2002. She was featured on the Fat Joe's What's Luv? song that same year. The singer also appeared on the song by Fat Joe,"What's Luv?" Hey Baby After the Club came out on October 16 to both radio and digital platforms. She starred in the film Christmas in the City and appeared as Latasha the character Montclair from Army Wives. Her song Rock wit U was sampled by British artist Aitch for his hit song Baby on 10 March 2022.
